Collective Consciousness NYC presents: 'THE WANTING SEED'

...planted deep within the instrument of creation, a promise waiting to bloom, longing for the warm kiss of sunlight and the premonition of a wondrous thereafter.

This series of nudes, depicts the female form as - a symbol of fertility, as the vessel for "The Wanting Seed"; soft, inviting curves of voluptuous flesh - the cozy nests of incubation, are reminiscent of rolling hills and deep ravines: the splendor of Mother Earth, mother to us all. Mother's milk are the oceans of creation...

The nudes are stoic figures, statues to Oedipal lust, so much a part of the surrounding landscape, and yet removed, separate... Powerful and erotic, they are universes in themselves, pregnant with the future.

This exhibition is a celebration of the feminine figure and the bittersweet yearning for the magic of what is just out of reach, in that world between sleep and dream, where all things manifest.
